A LAW firm in the region advised an upcoming TV presenter on her latest role with celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.
Ward Hadaway advised marine biologist turned TV presenter Tooni Mahto on her contract to appear on last week’s Jamie’s Fish Supper, produced by Mr Oliver’s Fresh One Productions for Channel 4.
Miss Mahto was chosen to take part in the series to give her expert take on how over-fishing affects the marine population – and how cooking with less celebrated fish can keep stocks healthy.
A first class honours marine biology graduate with a masters degree in oceanography, she is also a commercial diver and instructor who has travelled all over the world leading scientific expeditions and conservation projects.
She is involved in marine conservation in a number of capacities, including filming, communication and education and has worked behind the camera on underwater sequences in dramas, movies and documentaries.
Miss Mahto appeared in front of the camera for the first time as a presenter in the BBC2 series Oceans.
