TEES Valley-based radio station TFM Radio is launching a campaign today which it hopes will help generate £1m-worth of jobs across the region.
Show presenters will be appealing for local employers to inform them of any vacancies they currently have which will then be mentioned for free on air and posted on the station’s website and Facebook pages.
With 195,000 people tuning in each week, it is hoped that any listeners out of work will fill available positions.
TFM’s regional managing director Sally Aitchison said: “Having the ability to reach hundreds of thousands of people through our on-air shows, the website and our Facebook page, we expect businesses to see this as a golden opportunity."
