A Teesside company that makes door kits has revealed plans to create up to 40 jobs after moving to bigger premises.
Cotswold Manufacturing has seen sales grow to more than £3m and moved to a 53,000sq ft unit on the Teesside Industrial Estate, in Thornaby.
The company manufactures door sets, door kits and internal glazed screens for a wide range of clients across the country, including schools, universities, hotels, hospitals and Army barracks.
Cotswold employs 27 staff and has plans to develop its product range and increase the size of its workforce to about 65.
For the past two years, the company has been working closely with chartered accountants and business advisors Clive Owen and Co LLP.
Cotswold operates throughout the UK, but said its expansion would be based from Teesside.
Commercial director Ken Napper said: “We are happy to be here in Teesside and we’ve done well here since setting up in 2005.
“We aim to grow revenues by 30-35 per cent this year and we are profitable. The only time we made a loss was in the first year of trading.”
