A DELEGATION from Norway will be visiting the Tees Valley later this month to highlight business opportunities in the Scandanavian country.
The party, from companies based along the west coast of Norway, will be at the Belasis Business Centre, in Billingham, on January 27, for a day-long event.
It follows a successful three-day market visit to the country by 20 UK companies last October.
The industry of the west coast of Norway mirrors that of the North-East, with oil, gas, subsea and marine sectors, as well as a drive to become a hub for renewable industries.
Representatives from engineering firm Grenland Group, oil and gas firm Imenco, and energy firms Norsk Hydro and Haugeland Kraft will be among those making the trip.
The event has been organised by the Norwegian Collaboration Centre and the Energy Industries Council.
Anyone interested in attending is asked to contact Mike Pedersen on 0191-641- 248.
