ENERGY sector firms in the region are being offered the chance to show off their products and services at one of the world’s largest trade events.

Durham City-based NOF Energy, a business development organisation for the oil, gas, nuclear and offshore wind sectors, is offering members space on its stand at Offshore Europe.

The event, in Aberdeen, in September next year, attracts companies and visitors from more than 90 countries.

With the majority of stand space already allocated, NOF Energy is offering members the opportunity to take space on its exhibition stand as a catalyst to meeting contacts and potentially winning new business.

Already signed up are AV Dawson, Microbac and PJ Engineering Products. A further 12 spaces are available.

Joanne Leng, director of business development at NOF Energy, said: “Although Offshore Europe is almost a year away, exhibition space is always in demand and much of it is allocated already, which is why we have launched this stand sharing initiative now.

“In previous years, the NOF Energy stand has proven to be a popular destination for international businesses looking to tap into the expertise and innovation of UK suppliers.”

Taking place every two years, Offshore Europe attracts engineers, technical specialists, industry leaders and experts to share ideas and debate the issues in the upstream oil and gas industry.

Last year’s event was attended by about 1,500 exhibitors and more than 48,000 visitors each day.
