SCORES of Tees Valley young people who were not engaged in education, work or training have successfully secured jobs thanks to an employment project.
More than 750 young people from across Middlesbrough have engaged with the Neet (Not in Education, Employment or Training) programme delivered by Pertemps People Development Group since April 2008.
So far, 79 have secured jobs, more than 240 have received an accredited qualification and more than 300 have progressed to further learning.
Employment coach Jim Smith said: “We are absolutely delighted with the success of the programme.”
