A TEES Valley engineering firm has commissioned a North-East company to ensure it wows existing and potential clients at an exhibition centre.

Darchem Engineering, which produces parts for everything from Aston Martin cars to Eurofighter Typhoon jets, has commissioned Gateshead-based Picture Farm to develop video displays, showing off its work, for the centre at its Stillington site.

The centre has been set up to demonstrate Darchem’s range of products to existing and potential customers.

The company works in markets as diverse as aerospace, naval and nuclear and has invested tens of thousands of pounds in the centre.

Darchem’s marketing manager, Allison Harmison, said: “We wanted the centre to bring to life some of the work we do, to demonstrate our leading status in the field working for some highly-prestigious clients.

“We wanted people to walk in the door and be wowed by what they saw.

“The Picture Farm have done a really fabulous job showing what Darchem does.”
