DIGITAL agency Orange Bus has been recognised as the best of its kind in the region.
The Newcastle agency was recognised as the North-East Digital Agency of the Year by industry magazine The Drum.
In the New Year’s Honours section produced annually in the magazine, the award recognises the best agencies across the region as voted by industry peers.
Orange Bus, named after its founder’s VW camper van, doubled in size last year. Three years after its inception, it employs 14 staff. It is on course to hit £1m turnover this year, and works with clients including French movie channel Cinemoi, Ringtons and Newcastle Science City.
The Drum stated: “The agency, which promises to deliver ‘clever web stuff’, did not disappoint, producing consistently excellent work for a wide range of clients.”
Director and co-founder of Orange Bus Julian Leighton said: “We are delighted to be awarded this title as it means we are getting recognised by our fellow industry professionals.”
