ONE of the largest business start-up events in the North- East this year takes place at the weekend.
Leading regional companies exhibit to help hundreds of would-be entrepreneurs start their own businesses, at the third in a series of free Business Link events.
The Business Link Start Your Business Event 2009 programme offers the chance to get information, advice and guidance through a wide series of free seminars and workshops.
It also presents the opportunity to source the suppliers required to get a company up and running.
It takes place tomorrow, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, in Durham.
Alastair MacColl, chief executive of Business and Enterprise North-East which delivers the Business Link service in the region, said: “The North-East is a fantastic place to start and grow a business and the region has a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
