A LAW firm has expanded its estate agency business because of growing confidence in the housing market.
The legal team at BHP Law, in Darlington, will work with sales staff in the new Durham City branch of BHP Home, in Claypath, to provide a one-stop shop for anyone wanting to move house.
Sales director Alison Sykes said: “Being a one-stop shop cuts the risk of error and things going wrong because BHP staff can make much easier contact with each other.
“However, if clients prefer to use their own solicitor then that is not a problem.”
She added: “We’ve had these premises for a while and the fact that we’re opening now is a sign of our belief that the market has turned a corner.”
