LAW firm Emmersons has successfully negotiated a complex conveyancing deal overseeing the completion of ten properties built by a North-East builder.
David Foster, who owns Ruby Homes Developments in Sunderland, has recently built the houses in Amble, Northumberland.
The land, on the site of a former bus depot, used to belong to a number of different owners, including a bus company and private individuals.
Before any work could commence, the titles of the land had to be pulled together to make just one title.
Matters were complicated further with issues over road access and unusual shaped boundaries.
After successful negotiations by Emmersons Solicitors, which has practices in Sunderland and Gosforth, the houses are now complete with only two properties left for sale on the site, which includes five town houses and five apartments.
Mr Foster said: “Without the legal assistance we received, this project would never have left the planning stage.
“It’s been a long process but it’s really been worth it now that everything has come together.”
