A YOUNG plumber who shone in an international trade skills contest has crowned his achievement with another award.
Christopher Lonsdale, 22, from Bishop Auckland, followed up the Medallion for Excellence he won as a member of Team UK at a World Skills event in Canada, by receiving a certificate of participation from Rugby World Cup winner Matt Dawson.
Mr Dawson made the presentation at a reception in London.
