A VEHICLE painter whose job entails repairing car bodywork is to turn his attention to fine tuning the human equivalent.
Mark Robinson, from Darlington, hopes his venture, Personal Training Solutions, will prove attractive to people who want to lose weight and get fit, but who don’t want to go to the gym.
The 34-year-old said: “A lot of people may be intimidated by the prospect of going to the gym and it is those people I want to target.”
He will tailor exercise programmes for people, monitoring them, and also advising on changes that need to be made.
He will also provide advice on diet, lifestyle, nutrition and weight management.
Mr Robinson, who currently works with his father, Phil, at their car body repair business, in Haughton Road, Darlington, received his fitness qualifications from the Leeds Carnegie faculty of sport and education, part of Leeds Metropolitan University.
He is also a part-time fitness coach at Barnard Castle RUFC.
Mr Robinson said: “I’ve been involved with cars, and also played rugby for many years, but my main interest is fitness.”
