A BRANCH of national tax and accountancy support provider TaxAssist has been established in Darlington.
The office, in the town’s North Road, has been established by Mike Turnbull, who previously established a branch in Stockton in 2004.
He works with more than 500 clients, including 50 in Darlington, and saw the need to open a second office.
Mr Turnbull has recently employed two people, and will be looking to take on another two in the new year.
“The specialist small business service we offer has been well received in Stockton and over the past three years we have grown rapidly and now have more than 500 clients,”
he said.
“I am delighted to have opened the office in Darlington and believe the timing is right with market conditions showing definite signs of improvement locally.”
