EMERGING green companies are being encouraged to enter awards to commend the best new businesses in the Tees Valley.
Colin Brown, organiser of the Best New Business Awards, said: “With green technology at the forefront of the news agenda, supporting new and innovative environmental businesses is essential for the region.
“The Tees Valley is already becoming known as a hub for this type of business, which is great, as it boosts the region’s economy and brings national and global recognition to the area.”
Businesses from all sectors are able to enter the awards, which are now in their tenth year and are co-promoted by Business Link and Tees Valley Unlimited, particularly those in the retail, marketing and manufacturing sectors.
Any entrants must have been set up by July 1, 2006.
To enter before the closing date of October 19, log onto bestnewbusinessawards.com
