A COUPLE have launched the second office of their North- East law firm.
Jacqueline Emmerson and her husband and business partner Michael Robinson celebrated the opening of the new office of Emmersons Solicitors in Gosforth, Newcastle, by treating guests to an unusual art exhibition at the Opus art gallery.
The couple’s clients, colleagues and friends were given one of the first glimpses of the Dark Surrealism exhibition, which included paintings and prints by a collection of artists with a love of the surreal, macabre and fairytale.
And guests raised funds for Emmersons’ chosen charity Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association, which supports those who serve, or used to serve, in the Armed Forces, including their families.
Ms Emmerson said: “We were determined that we did not want the Gosforth launch to be the usual dull glass of wine in the office and that we wanted to do something a little bit different.”
Emmersons Solicitors has operated in Sunderland for more than a decade and has now opened a second office in Gosforth High Street to extend its reach into Tyneside and Northumberland.
