A SPECIALIST care provider is to create more than 70 jobs in the North-East over the next three months.
Integrated Support, based in Stanley, County Durham, said the increase in staff was needed to support the development of several new care services.
The company provides specialist care and support to adults with learning disabilities and who have complex needs.
Chief executive Thelma Turner said: “The business is growing at a fairly rapid rate and we are looking to significantly expand our role in the North-East over the next year or two.
“We need to recruit, in the first instance, around 70 additional members of staff.
“We want to talk to men and women, of just about any age, experienced and inexperienced, who feel they could work well in this demanding, but rewarding sector. These are career opportunities, not just jobs.
“We need people who are good communicators, nonjudgmental and non-discriminatory.
Most of all, they must have a big heart.”
The company will be recruiting for the positions at a jobs fair at the Riverside, in Chester-le-Street, on Friday and Saturday, October 23 and 24.
