AN online search company with an ongoing recruitment drive is offering flexible employment options to meet people’s changed circumstances.

Infoserve, based in Darlington, said a growing number of people had approached it recently to ask to work flexitime to supplement their income, as partners had either been made redundant or have had their working hours reduced.

Infoserve’s sales director, Mark Riley, said the move would benefit recruits and the company.

He said: “We are continually on the lookout for conscientious and enthusiastic people to help drive the business forward, and we have identified a huge pool of talent out there who can only work during school hours.

“By introducing flexible working between 9.30am and 3pm, for example, we can continue to grow our team by attracting additional high-calibre people who will work alongside our full-time sales staff.

“We have achieved record sales in the last few months as more companies realise they need to promote their business on the internet. We are in a great position to help them as we have exclusive contracts with the two biggest search engines, Google and Yahoo!, as well as having our own online business directory – cityvisitor.

com – which receives more than four million visitors a month.”
