LAW firm TBI Solicitors has funded the new season’s kit for the cricket team it sponsors.
TBI unveiled a sponsorship deal with Hartlepool Cricket Club a year ago, and is now extending that by providing additional kit.
As well as recruiting new amateurs, the club has announced two new professionals for this season – Janaka Gunaratne and Marc Symington.
Sri Lankan international Gunaratne has joined the squad, having played in England for the past four years, while Symington is well known in the region having played for Durham County for a number of years.
Steven Horsley, of TBI Solicitors, said: “Hartlepool Cricket Club not only brings international calibre sport to the town, but also encourages youngsters to participate and enjoy team sport.
“TBI is pleased to be able to help fund the club in this aim and we wish them every success for the coming season.”
Andrew Smith, of Hartlepool Cricket Club, said: “The continued relationship with TBI Solicitors, the club’s major sponsor, has a number of benefits. Not only can the team continue to fund additional kit for all players, whatever their age, but it also helps us raise the club’s profile, and in turn attract additional sponsors.
“TBI’s commitment is appreciated by everyone at the club, and we hope it will continue long into the future.”
TBI Solicitors has offices in Hartlepool, Wynyard Park, Stockton and Barnard Castle.
