A £30M commercial development has been opened in the North-East.
Gateway West, which offers 230,000sq ft of office and industrial space, has been built beside one of the region’s most high-profile business parks, Newburn Riverside, near Newcastle.
Developer Caddick Group, funding partners CBRE Investors and regional development agency One North East, a supporter of the project, believe Gateway West is ideally positioned to serve Tyneside.
Chairwoman of One North East, Margaret Fay, who officially launched the completed development, said: “Gateway West is an ambitious scheme that gives us hope for a bright future for Newburn Riverside and for the commercial development sector in the North-East.
“The Caddick Group has shown great ambition and confidence in these difficult times by pressing on with this impressive development.”
Myles Hartley, director of The Caddick Group, said: “The completion of this project highlights our insightful approach to high-quality, sustainable development and an end result that will be well-received and valued by the commercial property market.”
