AN e-commerce business based in the heart of Weardale has received funding through a Government-backed scheme.
On-Net-Communications, a marketing consultancy in Crook, County Durham, has secured a £60,000 funding package from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) as part of the Government-backed Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) Scheme.
The EFG Scheme is designed to provide businesses with the necessary working capital or investment finance. Under the scheme, the Government will guarantee 75 per cent of any loans made.
Established in 2002, On-Net- Communications provides market research and contact centre services to companies.
Maureen Stanton, managing director, said: “The funding that we have just secured will enable us to invest further in our technology, allowing us to provide significant costsaving solutions to customers at a time when it has never been more important.”
David Gray, a relationship manager for RBS Commercial Banking in Newcastle, said: “On-Net-Communications offers a quality-led service to companies of all sizes and we are pleased to support them.”
