ONE of the UK’s leading digital communications agencies has been recognised for its work with Arla Foods UK at this year’s Recruiter Awards.
Pearsons, which has offices in Middlebrough, Newcastle and Leeds, received the award for Best Recruitment Marketing Campaign for its “get more wow from the cow” campaign.
It was recognition of Pearsons’ marketing campaign to attract graduates to Arla Foods.
Arla Foods is the UK’s leading supplier of own-brand milk and cream to the top seven retailers and is home to Lurpak, Anchor and Cravendale Milk.
A spokesman for Pearsons, which employs 55 people, said: “Arla felt it lacked visibility as an employer in the competitive graduate marketplace and attracting graduates, especially for its finance and commercial departments, wasn’t easy.
“The key objective for Pearsons, therefore, was to the raise awareness of Arla Foods as a great place for graduates to work and gain experience and exposure.”
Pearsons carried out research with focus groups involving other graduates who had been successful at Arla, and obtained ‘day in the life’ stories from current graduates, which were used in the campaign. The outcome was a campaign centred around a microsite and key careers events.
