COMMERCIAL property agent and advisor Atisreal has adopted the name of its parent company.

The company, which has its North-East base in Newcastle, will now be known as BNP Paribas Real Estate, so the company can have one single brand across Europe, the Middle East and India.

David Furniss, head of BNP Paribas Real Estate’s Newcastle office, said the new identity demonstrates its ownership by one of the world’s strongest banks.

“This speaks volumes to clients and the market at a time when competitors are struggling, and allows our clients to view the relationship as a long and guaranteed one,” he said.

“This further enhances our ability to offer the very best market advice to our clients at a local and regional level by being able to benefit from the national and international experience available to us.”

BNP Paribas Real Estate, which manages the fourth biggest property company in Europe, recently announced strong results for last year, with fees of more than £660m and profits of £138m.
