PRIVATE cosmetic clinic the Aesthetic Beauty Centre is marking its tenth year in business by sponsoring an event at Newcastle Racecourse.
The business held the Aesthetic Beauty Centre Ladies Night on Thursday, with race names including Botox and Fillers Maiden Fillies Stakes and the Breast Augmentation Handicap Stakes.
The event was held after Dr Ash Dutta, owner of the private clinic, signed a £10,000 sponsorship deal with the racecourse. Having been established in 1999 by Dr Dutta, who also works in London’s Harley Street, the Aesthetic Beauty Centre employs 11 people and has clinics in Sunderland and Newcastle. The business treats more than 170 patients a week.
Dr Dutta said: “The majority of our patients are women and as we enter our tenth year in business, we felt it beneficial to get involved with this exciting new ladies race night at Newcastle Racecourse.”
A prize draw held at the event, which was geared towards ladies, offered prizes including Botox treatments, breast augmentations and liposculpture.
All proceeds have been donated to the Jade Goody Foundation, as Dr Dutta has performed treatments on her mother Jackiey.
Dr Dutta said: “We couldn’t help but have a bit of fun with the race names. We also wanted to raise funds for the Jade Goody Foundation – an inspirational lady who did so much so raise awareness of cervical cancer.”
