NETPark Net, in conjunction with the Electronics KTN, is holding a debate on the opportunities offered by microdiagnostics and how they are revolutionising healthcare.
Professor Jon Cooper, Wolfson chairman in bioengineering in the department of electronics at the University of Glasgow, and Peter Fielden, professor of analytical science, at Manchester University, will be travelling to the North-East for the debate.
They will join Professor Zulf Ali, director of the technology futures institute at Teesside University, who will be chairing the debate and Dale Athey, chief executive of Orla Protein Technologies. The debate takes place at the NETPark Incubator, in Sedgefield, County Durham, on June 1, between 5pm and 7pm.
There is no charge for the event but spaces are limited on a firstcome, first-served basis.
