THE daughter of one of the industry’s leading public relations experts is following in her father’s footsteps.
Charlotte Green, 23, has been appointed as the new account executive at public relations and branding specialist Bradley O’Mahoney, in Newcastle.
Her father, Andy Green, is the author of the industry’s leading text “Creativity in Public Relations”, now in its third edition and translated in nine languages.
Appearing in her first photocall at just three years old, Ms Green was also quoted as a two-year-old in a PR textbook, as an example of creatively adapting your message.
Ms Green was quoted in her father’s book when, as a toddler during a walk, her grandfather refused to pick her up and carry her the rest of the journey.
She quickly changed her request for a “carry”, to a “cuddle” and achieved her objective.
Ms Green, 23, is a Masters graduate in media and public relations at Newcastle University, having previously obtained a degree in classics at the university.
She caught the attention of directors at Bradley O’Mahoney during a student work placement at the firm and will be working on a variety of accounts in the public and private sectors, including Rio Tinto Alcan and Nova International.
