A CRYOGENICS company’s products are to be marketed across Scandanavia.
Wessington Cryogenics, of Houghton-le-Spring, Wearside, has partnered Fluid Control, of Stavanger, Norway. The deal, which was struck at the Offshore Technology Conference, in Texas, will mean Fluid Control will market and sell Wessington’s technology, initially in the Norwegian and Danish markets.
Sales manager Martin Woodhouse said: “Initially, this is a 12-month agreement, but I cannot see any reason why this will not be a long-term arrangement.
Hopefully, Fluid Control will help us carve out a permanent position.”
Wessington travelled to the conference with Durham-based NOF Energy, the business development organisation for the oil, gas and energy sectors.
The firm, which employs 100 people, makes and installs cryogenic storage vessels, including ISO tank containers for the oil and gas, bio-medical and science and research sectors. It also produces and maintains nitrogen, oxygen and helium vessels.
