PEOPLE living near a North Yorkshire hotel are being invited to view plans for a sustainable business park.
Plans for the park, adjacent to Scotch Corner Hotel, show opportunities for businesses and employment and will be on display on Monday, in the hotel, between 4pm and 8pm.
The plans show that developer Buccleuch Property wants to build a logistics unit, 28 office units and a local road system.
Richmondshire District Council has already approved plans for a new road layout to allow access to the site.
Sandy Smith, development director for Buccleuch Property, said: “We’ve listened very carefully and are very confident that what is being proposed can meet the requirements of this important site.”
“At a time when the recession is biting, we are ready to invest to open up a new site and bring new opportunities for business and employment.”
