A NORTH Yorkshire firm is supporting a motor retail group trying to stave off the recession.
Kream training, based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, is organising NVQ level two courses for 300 sales, customer service and parts staff employed by Stoneacre motor group.
The firm owns 20 dealerships nationwide.
Nick Leech, kream managing director, said: “It shows that despite all the doom and gloom in the industry, there are ambitious dealer groups out there who are not only weathering the storm, but who are also prepared to continue investing in their staff and, ultimately, the future of their firms.
“When the market begins to recover it will be those companies who are in the best shape with the best staff who will be able to make the biggest strides forward.”
