AN event which last year helped food producers from across the region tap into prospective contracts totalling £6.8m is being held tomorrow.
The Meet the Buyer event, organised by the Yorkshire Regional Food Group, is being held in Oulton Hall, Leeds, and includes representatives from some of the UK’s biggest purchasers.
Buyers from Asda, Greggs and several hotels and NHS departments will be attending the event, which in the past has provided a platform for firms to secure at least £4.7m in new business over the past six years.
Last year, more than 1,000 meetings took place between suppliers and buyers, culminating in potential deals worth £6.8m. To attend, call 01937-830354.
