LINE marking and traffic management specialist Coupe Group plans to take on staff after expanding its County Durham premises.
The company, which employs nearly 70 staff, expects to create about ten new jobs over the coming year, as demand for its products and services continues to grow.
Coupe has doubled the floorspace at its premises at Hackworth Industrial Park, Shildon, which houses its road-marking materials manufacturing business, Shildon Thermoplastics, and sister company Coupe Line.
Mark Coupe, manager of the Shildon site, said: "We can now concentrate production of road-marking materials in one location and meet demand more easily.
"We also have space for a proper fitting shop for our fleet of vehicles, which is important, since they may be working on contracts in Perthshire one week, and Norfolk the next."
Mr Coupe said the business was in "very good shape" to meet future demands.
The business recently invested £250,000 in a hydro-blasting machine to remove road markings with water.
