THE Middlehaven development is being showcased on an international stage this week at a worldwide developments conference.
The flagship £200m project, in Middlesbrough, is one of 12 being highlighted at the Waterfront Expo, in Portugal, which looks at leading design projects from around the world. The Middlehaven development comprises homes, retail and office space on Middlesbrough's riverside, and is expected to create about 1,000 jobs.
Yesterday, developer BioRegional Quintain announced that Leeds-based marketing consultancy fuse8 had been appointed to work on marketing for the project.
Pete Halsall, managing director of BioRegional Quintain, said: "We are leading the way in the development of sustainable communities throughout the UK. Middlehaven is a flagship project, so it was important for us to ensure that the marketing organisation we partnered with shared our values and aspirations."
