INDUSTRIAL services group Hertel (UK) has made a seven-figure investment on Teesside.
The group, which acquired Aker Kvaerner's engineering services workshop and maintenance business earlier this year, has bought the facilities from which the operations are run.
The Wilton workshop site, which has been bought from landlord SembCorp, will become the centre of Hertel's Tees Valley operations and a business unit for its operations in Scotland and the East of England.
