CONSTRUCTION firm Tolent has won a £3.5m deal to work on a mixed-use development on Teesside.
The Gateshead company has won the contract from Banks Developments to build three commercial buildings on the site in Bowesfield, Stockton.
Construction of the buildings, which have a total area of nearly 25,000sq ft, is already under way, with a view to being ready for occupation from next spring.
Banks and Tolent have worked together recently on a residential project in Gosforth.
The Bowesfield project also includes ten acres of new homes and a 30-acre business park next to a 37-acre nature reserve.
Barratt Homes, David Barlow Homes and McInerney Homes are already working on the site, and commercial premises are open, operated by Audi, Lexus, Toyota and Archers Law.
Trevor Phillipson, director of Tolent Construction, said: "We are delighted to be working with Banks Developments again following the success of the residential project in Gosforth."
