PROPERTY consultancy Knight Frank has predicted Stockton will experience a residential property boom.
The regeneration company, which has its North-East base in Newcastle, is forecasting major growth for the town as demand continues to outstrip supply for affordable homes in the Tees Valley.
Knight Frank, which has played a major role in the development of the Newcastle and Gateshead quayside, has predicted that Stockton's waterside locations and keen pricing will be the key to future developments. The area is experiencing a boom, with Middlesbrough's Middlehaven project, Stockton's North Shore development and Hartelpool's Victoria Harbour scheme collectively worth more than £1bn.
