Tabner Plastering Contractors has sent three of its employees on a training course to learn skills in restoring old buildings after winning a contract to carry out renovation work on early 20th Century buildings in North Yorkshire and east Cleveland. The Middlesbrough firm, which was given the contract by developer Byker Construction, will be using traditional lime mortars and lath-and-plaster construction methods for the houses in Richmond and Brotton.
