R&R Ice Cream, formerly Richmond Ice Cream, has been awarded a Payroll Giving Silver Award.
The Government-backed payroll giving scheme allows people to give to a charity by having donations deducted directly from their pay before tax.
Last year, staff at R&R Ice Cream, which has a factory in Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire, donated £7,000 to charity. The company also donated £50,000 to two charities and £24,000 to other causes, including schools and community initiatives.
