NEW media company Fuseboxdesign has expanded its operation in the UK and overseas, with further growth planned in the coming months.
The Newcastle firm has opened its first international office in Singapore, in conjunction with its architect parent company Red Box Design Group. Fuseboxdesign launched the Singapore operation to target sectors in South-East Asia in which the company has proven experience in the UK, including tourism, construction and engineering.
In the UK, where the company has recently opened an office in Darlington, Fuseboxdesign's workforce has increased from ten to 14, with further recruitment planned.
Alan J Smith, chairman of Red Box Design Group, said: "The new office in Singapore opens the door to a wider range of opportunities for both Red Box Design Group and Fuseboxdesign.
"This continues the group's strategy to introduce a high level of service into targeted burgeoning markets around the world."
Sarah Linley, managing director of Fuseboxdesign, added: "With the wide variety of online tools possible, businesses can now communicate with clients in exciting, interactive and cost-effective ways.
"It is testament to the team here at Fuseboxdesign that the company has grown steadily since its launch in 2001."
