SMALL businesses across North Yorkshire can pick up tips on how to win business contracts from the public sector at a series of events this month.
The Meet the Buyer events - organised by North Yorkshire County Council and the Northern Procurement Group - aim to explain the procurement needs of local authorities, and offer basic training in the tendering process and improving the regional supply chains.
The events will be held at:
* Tomorrow - Scotch Corner Hotel, Richmond
* Thursday - The Vale Hotel, Pickering
* Friday - Pavilions of Harrogate
