TEESSIDE law firm Askews Solicitors is looking to increase its staff by ten per cent in the coming months.
The recruits will fill vacancies in all areas, from administrator to solicitor, and help to swell the teams at its Redcar and Thornaby offices.
The family firm currently employs about 60 people and is keen to employ about seven more.
Askews practice manager Gary Watson said the recruitment drive was playing a central role in the firm's expansion.
"Askews was founded almost 75 years ago but, while our values are traditional, the firm itself is progressive and forward-thinking," he said.
"Recruiting the right high-calibre people is a crucial part in ensuring our continued success during the next 70 years."
The original practice of Askew and Askew was founded in 1939 by the late father and uncle of the present senior partner, David Askew.
Among positions Askews is looking to fill is a family solicitor, claimant case handlers, a trainee solicitor and administrators.
