A DIVISION of the Reflex Vehicle Solutions group has opened a site on Teesside after a £1m investment.
Reflex Vehicle Sales has opened in Acklam Road, Middlesbrough on the site of the former Middlesbrough Van Centre, after selling more than 500 cars and commercial vehicles through its recently-launched website.
Three jobs have been created as a result of the move.
Its Stockton-based parent company Reflex Vehicle Solutions was set up in January 2004, and expects to double its workforce of 32 in the next 18 months.
It recently invested £3m in its fleet, and operates more than 3,500 rental vehicles in the commercial and passenger sectors.
As well as its base on the Preston Farm Industrial Estate, it has plans to expand into sites in Middlesbrough, Glasgow, and near the M25 in London. Reflex has also identified locations in the Midlands, the South-West and in north London.
Pete Newcombe, managing director of Reflex Vehicle Sales, said: "In opening this new retail site, which is in a prime location in Middlesbrough, we are making good-quality commercial vehicles available to buy at competitive prices."
