A BUSINESS event featuring award-winning broadcaster and adventurer Mark Beaumont has been cancelled.
Mr Beaumont was due to speak at a seminar at Croft Circuit, near Darlington, on Friday, June 27.
The event, organised as part of the Government’s Business Is Great Britain campaign, was set to cover exporting, access to finance, skills and training and intellectual property.
Mr Beaumont shot to fame after becoming a Guinness World Record breaker for the fastest solo circumnavigation of the world by bicycle.
The talk was scheduled to take place at the track before the British Touring Car Championship arrives at the venue this weekend.
The Business Is Great campaign backs one of the cars in the championship.
