A LABORATORY maker has gone into administration.
MSS Clean Technology, based in Sheriff Hutton, near York, is continuing to operate and complete contracts while a buyer is found.
The company, founded in 1982, specialises in laboratories, cleanrooms and controlled environments for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare and electronics industries.
The firm employs 12 workers.
Joint administrator Rob Sadler, from York-based Begbies Traynor, said: “MSS is well-known and has established a blue chip client base.
“We are continuing to trade the business while it is marketed as we are confident that its brand, it directors’ expertise, and its extensive contacts, will be of interest to a number of potential buyers.”
