LAW firm Blackett Hart and Pratt (BHP) has increased the size of its operation in Darlington by extending its office in the town's Faverdale area.
The practice has expanded into another 5,400sq ft of space at Westgate House, taking the total area of its office to 14,000sq ft.
The additional single-storey space, which includes offices and meeting rooms, as well as a large staff car park, has been taken for current and projected expansion of a number of the firm's teams.
BHP moved its Darlington division to the Faverdale business park in September 2002, and has since increased the number of staff to 65.
BHP practice manager Anne Lane said: "Our relocation then was partly to accommodate the development of our commercial teams. Expansion of the planning and architectural design team in particular since then has meant that we needed to provide even more space."
