A NORTH-EAST property services firm has continued its growth after winning a contract to build an affordable home development.
Esh Property Services, part of construction firm, Esh Group, which has a base in Durham, will work on a £2.5m scheme to erect 27 new properties for people aged over-55 in Whitehaven, Cumbria.
The company will work with affordable house provider, Home Group, building 26 two-bedroom bungalows and one three-bedroom bungalow, on the site of a former social club and care home.
Work is expected to be finished early next year on the scheme, which is partly funded by the Homes and Communities Agency.
Graham Morgan, Esh Property Services' operations director, said: “This is a great scheme and we believe it will give a great boost to the area as these sites which have been disused for a long time.”
