AN insurance broker could create new jobs after moving into new premises.
Alverton Insurance Brokers, in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, was previously run from the home of Peter Brown, but has branched out into the town's Garthway Arcade, following a rise in demand for services.
Mr Brown, a father-of-four who started his career with Co-operative Insurance Services, will run the business with wife, Wendy, a trained accounting technician and accounts clerk.
He said: “It was just getting too busy at home with regular callers, we love being able to do business with customers face-to-face so we’re delighted with the new premises.
“We can extend our range of products and can find clients the most appropriate policies on car, household, caravan and travel policies, or business policies covering shops and offices.”
