HIGHLY-RATED Jack Blackford has moved to Darlington on loan from Hartlepool United.

The winger has moved to the National League North side for a month. 

Blackford, Hartlepool-born, has been with Pools since he was at school, and played for the club's under-10 side, progressing through the youth ranks to make his first team debut at the end of last season in a win over York City.

That came a day after he signed his first professional contract after he courted strong attention from both Manchester City and Aston Villa. 

He could make his debut at Chorley this afternoon.
