Former Darlington striker Robbie Blake has signed for Team Northumbria.
The 37-year-old burst onto the scene at Feethams, scoring 21 goals in 68 games after making his debut in 1995.
He played a pivotal role in the team that reached the Division Three play-off Wembley in 1996 and was sold to Bradford City the following year.
He has since spent the bulk of his career in the top two divisions, most notably with Burnley and Leeds, while he was with Doncaster Rovers last season.
Team Northumbria announced the signing of Middlesbrough-born Blake on Saturday, but he was not considered fit enough to play against Newcastle Benfield.
"Robbie is a great signing for us and I'm glad we've finally done the deal," said Team Northumbria boss Paul Johnson.
