A MAN is due to appear in court tomorrow following an attempted robbery at a post office.
The incident took place at North Ormesby Post Office, near Middlesbrough, at about 3pm on Friday.
Police said an imitation gun was used, but no-one was hurt and nothing was stolen.
A 34-year-old man from North Ormesby was today charged with attempted robbery and possession of an imitation firearm and remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court tomorrow.
