A man has died following a medical episode in a County Durham graveyard.
Emergency services were called to Tudhoe Cemetery, near Spennymoor on Saturday afternoon.
Ambulance staff pronounced him dead at the scene.
A spokesman for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called by Durham Police at 2.11pm today (10 AUG) to assist with a patient in the cemetery on York Hill Road in Spennymoor.
"We dispatched two paramedic crews, a clinical team leader and specialist paramedic."
An inquest will be held to establish the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: “Police were called shortly after 2.10pm today (August 10) following reports of a man suffering a medical episode at Tudhoe Cemetery, near Spennymoor.
“Paramedics also attended, but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
